Despite that we also have 2 new people on Stone for Test Week . One is Masterlord (dont know him yet) and second is Anhe a fighter only , but she asked so nicely to be allowed to kick some Order that we took her on stone . Always have an eye on her ;) look at THIS . I like it ;)

Drake resigned and is now in SUN . Well we know how long SUN-revivals usually last ;)

Kraxel is on stone for test week .

Members-list updated . Julie-Ann and RaGGaMaFFiN are new on the stone , Salomon moved from members-list to KoS list , including his PK Leviathan and his Thief Ter blabla....forgot the name ;) It's relatively easy to become a stone-member of the EBR but it shouldn't be that easy to become a full-member...don't trust people to early please , let them show that they are worthy ;) doesn't mean that you shouldnt answer their ICQ's or sth...maybe just dont give 'em your account password or something similar .... status was also updated

EBR is alive ;) we've been chatting about it and had a quite clear result....some members just said they would refuse to leave the stone....so well we're back ;) Drake joined EBR today and we will most likely recruit by having a test-week and then a vote....sounds the best to me .

TC has some problems with their "Alliances" . Their GM said that many of them want a more active alliance then we were lately though they don't actually want to cancel our friendship . She (Wood) was also concerned about so many EBR playing on Siege but I think we had a good start the last days and will for sure be fighting along with TC soon ;) Just a reminder : I can't know that TC needs help , I need an ICQ that tells me ! So if you can see me wood , available in ICQ (no matter if I'm invis or sth.) just drop me a line and I drop that line to the EBR online . It's just a matter of communication , as are our activity problems. There are EBR online , just call 'em ;)

Same the other way 'round of course....if any of you Rangers out there need a helping hand , send an ICQ to a TC on your ICQ-List , and if you dont have any drop me or gor-e or someone else a line , we have at least their GM on our list . Oh and drop your fellow guild mates an ICQ too ;)

I think TC can be great allies and I dont think we ever lost a BIG fight when we were fighting together . We just need to get to know their new members and they need to get to know us and we will be fine again .

Well concerning the situation on Drachenfels ... our most active member set sails to Siege ... he was the last of the really really old ones and I really lost my faith in the guild at the moment I read his posting . The EBR will exist on Siege Perilous but what about DF ? Comments on this on the msg board please , thanks . Updated members and links (yes wood ;))

UPDATE!!!

Ok I think there are some things we ...could talk about . My idea of this :

We have an IRC-Chat . All active/interested EBR/Ex-EBR propose a time and date so we can find a suitable day for the chat . I've been counting active members and the result was devestating...and I don't wanna see this "Legend" (good and bad) go down like this ;) So please everyone interested (Drachenfels) please post a message or at least quit fucking around like we all did lately . Yeah I know I quit twice to this problem already...well I cant...forgive me hehe

If you havent read about the new shard "Siege Perilous" OSI is setting up soon in replace for abyss, its a great idea and would give us the possibility to guard the eastern woods again and return to the roots, because there will be no statloss. i made a site dedicated to this shard. Another thing. The Dawn Project is a Drachenfels RP-Organization with PvP intentions. Check the link and tell me what you think of it. Maybe we should settle back from chaos/order for a while and give it a try. Many guilds are involved and it rally sounds interesting.

Ok, after tonite, we decided to no longer visit Buccs Den so often. main reason are the Tons of blue healers, only waiting until one gets grey and then jumping 4+ on him (mostly RUN members), SOA is using. If they are not capable of fighting all their enemies alone, they shouldnt accept wars. very dishonorable behaviour.

Order/Chaos King of the Hill Event on Drachenfels-shard

This friday, 12th of march 1999 a King of the Hill Event will be held in the hedge-maze near trinsic on DF-shard. only reqirement to take part is, your guild is order/chaos. A guild will start to take the house in the hedge center at 20:00 european time. come with your guild and try to take over and hold the house as long as possible. if u are defeated, reequip and start another wave. no rules apply on this event, all is allowed. the more guilds who take part of, the more fun there will be. the last guild standing is the winner of this event.

EBR will meet at 19:00hrs Central European Timat the tower.

Due to the lack of virtue guards on this server (they all seem to sleep), we declared war to some guilds. check the stone to know your enemies. we are going to watch this and will add some more by the time.

Keep in mind that none of these are the full blue PK solution. They are just portions of it that we are considering. * a way to declare yourself as "evil." This would mean that you are red & attackable, but cannot be reported for murder (and thus never get stat loss. But anyone killed by someone evil is unlootable by anyone except themselves. Undertaker, and any others of his ilk, would you go for this? Any Shadowclan orcs around who can comment? * inability to delete murderers. This is because a major concern we have is pushing people to red, whereupon they simply make a new character & go on major sprees.

Right now, the ease of macroing actually works in our favor in that it's not worth it to start over every time, for blue PKs--but if we tighten up, as we plan, then the current blue PKs will stay blue by making newbies and macroing them up. * murders do not decay while a) a ghost or b) in a house you are a friend or owner of. * stat loss kicking in at 1 kill. Say, maybe, 1% per murder report. In other words, well before you go red. * Love to see some more debate on stat loss at death versus stat loss at res. I have seen many of the vigilante types unhappy with the notion of stat loss at death.

He also added this: It looks like we won't be able to get the blue PKs stuff in by February 23rd. That means it will slip to March 9th, putting it out of the month. Hence my promise is shattered, and Big Bad Ed can stop counting down. :( Just to clarify: there will still be an update on the 23rd, and will have the thief stuff in it. Just not the blue PK stuff.

And then he made this post: To be honest, I am somewhat baffled. I see a lot of alternate solutions offered that have been offered many times before & are known not to solve anything (like going attackable, gray, whatever, after one kill--so much for all the vigilantes and antis now, they would all have to go away). I see a lot of people complaining that this will ruin PvP, when in fact it will probably make it a lot more exciting. Remember, 1/3 of the plan involves a massive overhaul of PvP warfare. Imagine large scale warfare a la Abyss occurring within thecontext of the PvP system. I see several people saying, "the idea of going evil sounds cool, but you have to allow looting." In whicah se, every PK would be evil, duh, since it means unlimited kills and plenty of reward. In that case, there's no restriction on it. What would be the point? It would just plunge the world into wholesale massacre. I don't understand the logic here at all.The things to remember here: Roleplayed killers should go evil. If they are doing it for roleplaying reasons, they don't CARE about loot. blue PKs are GOING TO BE RED AND ARE GOING TO HAVE STAT LOSS. Deal with it. Blue PKs are generally cowardly, antisocial, and childish, and they need to take theirmedicine. There WILL be other outlets for PvP. And they will be cool.

Small but important update: due to certain circumstances and, lets say, a misunderstanding of the worlds best roleplayer on this shard, the (in)official peace with BBO has ended. Crush their bones, friends.

Another thing, a guy named blizzard killed a member 4 times newly ressed, so show him your most angry face, if you see him. no mercy to him.

Tournament Time

This saturday, 20th of this month, the East Britain Rangers are holding an internal guild-tournament, which will freshen up your rusty bones. The goal for this is to refresh some group tactics. this will be a 4 vs 4 battle with no limitations in supply or weapons. meeting at the tower at 22:00hrs german time.

Let me finally say something to the actions and comments the guild received the last days. Yes, we changed a bit from our goals we had on catskills. due to the fact that the red scum in the eastern woods nearly left the lands and we like fighting, we switched to a PvP-guild on the chaos side. Some people accused us of being cowards, dishonorable and noto-pks. This is not true, we only attack people who deserve it from our point of view or willing to fight us due to their virtue-guards status. We dont hide behind the color blue like many people do it now in these times. Well, maybe we lost the path of honor the last few weeks a bit, so my words go out to all our members. remember this: we are the East Britain Rangers, no stinking notopks or newly ressed killers. Do your best to honor our enemies, gate them, ress them, and show them a kind of respekt. If they flame, let them do it, if they insult us, let them do it, dont let yourself tear into a flaming debate ingame or on message boards. We dont have to justify ourselves, cause in our inner heart we know, that what we are doing is right in our eyes.

And again, to all the people who dont like us, if you want to fight us, join virtue. We dont accept any single wars.

Long time no update, but nothing importand has happened. We have some new members, so check out the members list to get their icqs. Finally, the guild BBO has a friends status with us, but no allience.

No more war with MoA. Peace was declared through us.

Again the status- and the members-page were updated. The guild -X- is on the friends-list now. Be aware there is another -x- (order) guild.

The other thing is, Battlefield commander trial is out for most of us, so we swith over to Roger Wilco. RW offers no seperate channels, but its still in beta till end of march. If u download it, dont forget the latest patch. You can find it here. Use same IP and password for this new programm to connect to the server.

We declared War to MoA yesterday out of a boring evening and had a lot of fun.Check out the status-page. As u all know single wars are not intended with us, so let me know if we shall keep it or not. I also updated the memberspage to the current status. it seems as if we are getting bigger in the future. we should discuss how big we want to become to.
